On the road again....

Something has bothered Bean today. He has rejected food all day and caused more unpleasant bathroom trips than usual -- when I didn't think it was possible for me to go to the bathroom MORE. Needless to say, this drive from CT (where we were at a friend's wedding this weekend) back home to MD has been less than comfortable.

In addition to rejecting food almost immediately, Bean has also decided it would be funny to give me a baby bump already. It's tiny, but I call it my seven week belly bloat. Yay for water retention! I'm not exactly sure how I am retaining any water when I pee constantly, but that's for another discussion.

We broke the news to my in-laws and hubby's grandparents this weekend. They were, of course, overjoyed. I hope it wasn't too early to do so, but hopefully, history will not repeat itself and Bean will stick! 

I continue to be nervous and anxious about Thursday's ultrasound. What if we don't see anything? What if a heartbeat can't be detected yet? What if there is just a sac like last time? Oh, the unknown. It can be so terrifying! Still, we continue to be hopeful and recognize that this is in God's hands. Time for my inner mantra and meditation when we get home!
