Update from Greg on his garden: "A bird has uprooted flowers in my flower box, built a nest in it, laid an egg, and has declared our front stoop his property. It's kinda cute."
This bird is actually a mourning dove, which is known for its monogamy, loyalty, and dedication to its young. The mother and father take turns tending to the best and never leave it unattended.
Is this a sign of optimism for our little guy or what?!! It certainly gives new meaning to the word "nesting". Too cute!!
