One hyperactive little boy!
We had our NT scan this morning and a very thorough sonogram, and all is well, thankfully!
Baby Boy LaBanca is extremely active, though, and made it next to impossible to get a good profile shot with all of his headstands and flips! Very long legs and hyperactive, just like Mommy!
Oh boy, we're in for it!

Baby registry -- ahhhhh!
Yesterday I made the mistake of attempting to revise my baby registry, which I started a year ago with my first pregnancy. A headache is guaranteed each time I visit and attempt to edit it.
The sheer number of items, strollers, basinettes, cribs, toys, supplies, clothes, etc. is OVERWHELMING and actually quite insane. I don't even know where to begin, so I usually add a few items and quickly close the window with a pounding headache.
Luckily, Amazon Baby Registry offers the opportunity to have an Advice Team of people who can give you advice and suggestions on your baby items. I invited several people to my team, most of whom are experienced mothers and/or aunties. The few suggestions I have received thus far have been useful!
If you have something to recommend (especially for a baby boy), please let me know!
P.S. OF COURSE I would use Amazon for this! It's where I buy everything!! ;)

It's a boy!
We got the most amazing news yesterday!
The nurse called and informed me we are at the lowest possible risk for any genetic or chromosonal defects in our baby. There is less than a 1 in 10,000 chance of anything going wrong, or less than 0.01%. Yay!!
Even more exciting, we are having a boy! I know, I know, I know....I wasn't supposed to find out, but my curiosity and type A planning nature took over. We are thrilled and even have names picked out, though we are definitely keeping them a secret.
Over the moon and feeling ridiculously blessed!!

Finally Facebook official!
Today marks Colgate Day AND the start of my second trimester, so we figured it was the perfect time to officially announce on Facebook:

First trimester testing done!
First trimester Panorama screening done. Will know results within 2 weeks as well as gender (if we want!). Measuring 11 weeks exactly with strong HR of 181. Little LaBanca was once again very active!
Couldn't get a good pic with the external ultrasound because I didn't know I was supposed to have a full bladder!

Holding a newborn!
One of my close childhood friends gave birth to a beautiful baby boy this weekend, and I had the opportunity to hold him at only one day old! There's no more precious feeling in the world.

4th ultrasound in the books!
I have to admit that I wasn't nearly as nervous this time around. After the spotting scare two weeks ago where everything turned out just fine, I was fairly confident moving into this yesterday morning.
An awesome 4th ultrasound! Bean even turned and wiggled around for us! Heartrate continues to be nice and strong at 190. Measuring 9 weeks 5 days. I think he is ready for some turkey today! Happy Thanksgiving!!
Maybe it really IS a boy!
